Yesterday I went out to pick my first ripe cherry tomato of the year.
Unfortunately, I found no tomatoes left. Whatever ate my tomatoes apparently did not like tomato skins. They left the skin in the pot.

Bette, Dang it those were some pretty tomatoes too. My mouth is watering looking at them. I can hardly wait for a blt this summer..... What in the world do you think it was the deer or the chipmunks ate your crop!! Whatever they best not let you find them in action. Cecilia
I bet the culprit was that cute looking chipmunk, you know the innocent looking type!Even the green ones?! GRRR (The deer would have eaten the leaves too, ask Vicki!) Those were great looking tomatoes! I hope your plant can produce more real soon! Kathy
We need to put a big fence......over 8 feet high and then several feet more into the ground............Deer can jump quite high and gophers go low. Its a losing situation......... Leaving the skin................that's interesting........
