Axe Factory Building

These are a few of the building in the Collinsville Axe Factory complex.  The trestle bridge that you see in the middle is part of the Rails to Trails system.  It connects  parts of the trail that are located on opposite ends of the property.

Really MS. B you need to have a showing of all your photographs! We agree with JackDaddy. How fortunate for you area the bldgs. are still standing.

Beautiful old brick buildings!
And the train used to run so close to them! What a great idea: rails to trails, they can't be too steep!

I just want to wander off down the trestle to see where it will lead!
