We have a bottle full of pink sand from a cruise to Bermuda
... and rocks from Higgins Beach in Maine.
She never knows what to do with them when she gets home .
For now, they sit on the mantle with the bottle angel.

Oh good, I'm not the only one that saves little rocks or sand from vacation spots!
I have a "memory" frame developing. It's one of those frames that is 2 inches deep, for keepsakes.

Mom told me she tried to bring pink sand back from Bermuda but it was confiscated at the airport before they even left...
how did mom manage to get it in the States?

Note to Madi's Mom: I bought it in the bottle you see in a gift shop at the pier. Put the whole bag in the suitcase and "voila"...nobody even asked.
I love rocks. My youngest knew that and would spot neat rocks for me on our walks. Oh those were the days.
