How much does 2 feet of snow weigh?

New storms coming in today, Tuesday, and another possible on Thursday that was described as "disturbing" by the weatherman.  Pawpa is outside raking off the garage roof.  We were unable to buy a roof rake at any of our nearby stores so Pawpa is using a V-E-R-Y old rake with wooden tines.  It's working which is GOOD!  The tines keep falling out which is BAD so Pawpa bought dowels, cut them to size, and has to keep gluing them so he can use it.

(We've ordered a roof rake online but it won't be delivered until NEXT week after it snows again.)

Oh wow, that is a lot of snow!!!
It looks like exhausting work and he has to do it for both the house and the garage!

Saw those collapsing roofs on the news, don't want y'all to be one of them!

Good luck Pawpa with more on the way!

And I thought we had a lot of snow. We had our driveway cleared yesterday before more snow hits us next week.

That is a lot of snow! I thought the 20" we received Tuesday was a lot. I also got on our house for the first time ever to remove snow, but it was nothing compared to that! Glad I found your blog. I look forward to reading more.

That is a lot of snow!!! I've never heard of a roof rake and I hope we never need one. I like how weathermen get their underwear in a wad over snow storms. Yours said "disturbing" and ours said, "a train wreck." Both are understatements!
