I have never seen these before either!The Indian Pipes look like a cousin to the "Snow Plant" seen in the mountains of CA. Kind of "tubular", they rise up just as the snow is melting.Funny, last summer was to wet and this summer to hot & dry there!
I've never heard of them. But I really like to color! Hope you're feeling better!Liz
