I have never seen a dogwood in the fall to know the flowers turned red! That is so unique! I was wondering what kind of "pods" they were until I scrolled down and saw your description!

Northeastern Okla. is finally cooling off. In the low 80's today. I might do some much needed yard work today or I might not.
Some of the leaves are starting to change here in the high country....yikes....!!

Last year, the bears broke limbs on our dogwood trying to eat these...it's sweet and juicy!
