It's time to admit it. The time has come. This is a day I did not look forward to. Gizzy's favorite pillow is kaput! I find little tufts of stuffing all over the floor. It can't be washed. He's scratched it into a comfortable position too many times until the fabric is thin and it can't be sewn shut. The pillow must go!
Hopefully, he will accept a red pillow, that formerly graced the couch, as a replacement. (It and it's companion red pillow were replaced by the striped ones.) He liked it fine when it was there and would pull it into a position that was perfect for a sleeping dog. Wish us luck!

B, my heart skipped a beat when I read the title of this post... I thought something terrible had happened to Giz!!!
Thank goodness, just the pillow was
"kaput"! I think Giz will look great on a red pillow!
Drop by my blog Sat...I have an award for you!

As with the above comment - we were scared to come over!
Thank goodness it is only the pillow!
Once the new one gets good and smelly it will do fine.

Oh my....that sounds about as traumatic as a child losing a pacifier. Madi and I will think of you as you make the transition!!!
Note from Gizzy: I didn't wanna scare nobuddy else so I made MoM add the pillow part to the title!!
Grrrrrs from Gizzy..........
Why not just make a new cover for the old pillow? Then it still smells and feels the same! Good luck!
I know Dory is happy with just about any pillow....I am sure Gizzy will get by...I really hope he does... :-)
Smileys!

I still have my childhood baby pillow and ain't nobody taking it away. Stinky or not.
Like your ice pics and crochet squares, etc...
Jack finally has stopped chewing his bed pillows - at least when I'm around and can catch him.
Here's to the new pillow!!!
