Busy Gizzy
Yesterday was a rare day for November in CT. The temperature rose to almost 70 degrees and the sun was shining. We all took a walk on the trail along the Farmington River. It was VERY crowded. Gizzy was very busy doing the scratching digging dance in the dirt to cover up all the smells left by other puppies.
Mom wanted to take a picture of a duck that may be a hooded merganser but it was too small and too far away to tell for sure. Magnifying helps but not much. She tried but she just couldn't get close enough. (Mom says: "Oh for a papparazzi's camera's telephoto lens.")

We had a lovely day in NC too...unfortunately the remainder of the week will be WET!!

Buddy and Zack have been doing that scratchy dirt dance all the way cross country...silly boy dogs!
Yeah.....a telephoto lens.....then she won't bother you so much when she takes your pic Giz! You will never complain again!

Days for walking and hiking in the fall are so much fun! We've had mild temps this November, too...what a treat before winter settles in!
