I have pictures of sitting on a stoop but in N.Y.C. I used to have bangs like that and the scarf! Oh, my goodness! I think your me!
This picture was taken about 1947 or 48. I was around 3 years old. Unfortunately it was not dated. It was in CT..could be Torrington, Winsted, or Hartford.
I remember shoes called Mary Janes as being black patent leather with an ankle strap and ribbon bows on the toes. I'm pretty sure these weren't them.
